💸 Having a sale?
🤩 Offering a new service?
🔒 Shutting your doors for a few days?
📣 Let your website visitors know with your Announcement Bar! 📣

Here is how to set one up in Squarespace:

  1. When you log into Squarespace, click on Website

  2. Scroll to the bottom, and select Website Tools

  3. Click on Announcement Bar

  4. Click the dropdown to Enable it.

  5. Type the text you want to see. You can even include emojis! Optional: Add a link so anytime someone clicks on it, you can direct them to a page with more information.

Pro Tips:

  • At the time of posting this blog post, announcement bars are only available for Business or Commerce plans.

  • You can change the color of your announcement bar and the announcement bar text using your site styles menu. This will be a little different for people using an older version of Squarespace, but in this tutorial, you’ll learn how to do this for Squarespace 7.1
